The report describes three diagrams illustrating the main upgrades that West Park Secondary School suffered since 1950 – when it started to be built.
Overall, it can be seen that the main road has been the same during all three periods, however is marekdly different for the school’s infrastructure and other nearby places.
Although, constructions were a lot dated in 1950, along with modernization, many facilities have been added and removed in 1980 and 2010. It can be easily spotted that until 2010 the school has expanded in two buildings: the main building and the science block which makes it more accessible for people. The most changes were made in 1980 because as we can observe all houses were replaced with a car park and a small complex of the school. Moreover, the farmland near the playground that looks still the same, converted into a sports field.
Additionally, from 1980 to 2010, other small details were adapted to the new design of the construction. One change is that the car park is now triple its size compared to 1980, while the sports field has been halved. Another change is about the playground, which was minimised and put along with the sports field resulting in a compact area for children and teenagers at West Park Secondary School.
