The diagram is showing the changes that has taken place at Queen Mary Hospital, since its construction in 1960. These whole changes are evident of different management that was available throughout the forty year period up-to the year 2000.
Overall, the forty- years from 1960 to the year 2000, there has been great developments happening at the Queen Mary Hospital which shows that people have been coming in and also going out of the management of the properties.
Initially, the area was divided into four quarters consisting of Shopping Centre, Hospital, Farmland and the Car Park. The main road has been a clear way in that year. The following twenty years, new infrastructures were split and renovations took place. The area that that had the shopping centre was split into two which were now the Cancer Centre and a Pharmacy, the Hospital remained, the farmland was now turned into a Nursing School and the Car Park remained.
In the year 2000, there was a great shift of development. The Cancer centre had acquired more area of a third from the total area, the pharmacy and the Hospital occupied the same area as in year 1980, now the Car Park space has been divide into two to fit Nursing School and Car Park.
