The pictures above display the changes of the city of Nelson since the year 2000. It has significantly changed in past years.

The only building that has stayed the same is the university. As for the changes, there have been many around the city. They have added a residence building so citizens can be near the city centre and all of its facilities. The improvements throughout the years give residents things to do in their free time like going out to a bar or having dinner at the port.

It seems the city has stopped using cars by converting the road into a pedestrian walkway and offering bike rentals at the city centre. To encourage environmentally friendly travel, the train station was renovated and has a track that directly goes to the university. Although the city is going for a more eco-friendly approach, plant life has decreased and has been replaced by complexes.
