The given maps above compares the development of a small fishing town and area near it before transforming into a huge resort for European tourists.
As it can be seen, there is a few numbers of citizen that live in the fishing town and fewer buildings. In other hand, in the resort there is a large amount of peoples which are more crowded rather than the small fishing town. In addition the infrastructure is more crowded and has thorough facilities.
In 1974, the small fishing town only have 12,000 of people living in the village. According to the maps it is obvous that there are only 2 main villages and the other one is fishing village. Also, near the village located on right side of the map, there are a lot of farm animals such as sheep and goats. In the fishing village it seems there is a harbour in the same area.
However, in 2004 the numbers of citizen sky-rocketed around 50,000 to 80,000 this dramatic increase also affects the establishmen surrounding them. Not only,the amount of people has increase but also the small villages and houses are upgraded into a larger building, especially the main village. Besides the village, the majority of the buildings are hotels and tourist spots for instance, there is a lot of beach and a huge golf course.
