The mep demonstrates the renovation of the museum and its surrounding grounds over 2 decades in 1990 and 2010. From an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the museum and its surrounding vicinity underwent significant redevelopment, including replacement of certain facilities and alterations in the spatial dimensions.
The museum was expanded, reducing the size of the car park and footpath. Internally, due to the expansion it is notable storage facility in the top left corner also marginally increased in dimension, while two separate exhibition rooms in the immediate corner on the right were merged to form expansive one. In terms of remaining exhibition rooms, one remained intact, whereas the one adjacent to the shop was removed in favour of extending shop laterally. The last room in the museum-cottage was superseded by cafe.
Regarding the outer area of the main structure, there were four trees, however one of them was transplanted nearby museum. Opposite of the museum in 1990 the garden and car park was bisected by waved path, demarcating the two areas. By 2010, garden was replaced by another car park, making it the only car parking area. Finally, the main road under the museum and parking area remained unchanged.
