The pictures illustrate how a district park changed from 2004 to 2014.
Overall, the park underwent a number of significant changes, the most important of which was the addition of recreational facilities, especially a cycling path surrounding the whole park and the expansion of many areas.
Looking first at features that were closer to the entrance, located in the north west of the park, this entrance remained unchanged over the period. Meanwhile, there were more tennis courts constructed in the area immediately opposite to the entrance. Right in the middle of the map, the football ground still remained, but the car park opposite to this area was enlarged from 20 cars to 50 cars in 2014.
As for features that were further away from the entrance, in the south west of the map, a picnic area was built and adjacent to it was a boating area which used to be a small pond in 2004. Another significant transformation was the shrinkage of a green area in the south- eastern corner of the park for the expansion of a play area and the addition of a new soft play area for children southwards. In addition, a cafe was erected in the green area and toilets next to it.
Finally, a cycling path was built to allow bikers to go around the district park in the last year.
