The two maps illustrate the alteration of a library’s layout from five years ago to now.
Overall, there were lots of essential changes regarding rooms arrangement, facilities and extra services, which makes it more space-effective to cater for more visitors and purposes.
It is easy to see that two traditional tables were changed into six private studying tables with six private seats each. The desk for computers and the booking shelves in the back of the library were replaced with desks for student’s laptops, which make it more convenient for students. There is a new conference room constructed at the bottom right corner at the expense of the library office.
On the one hand, the classroom has converted to a recording studio. While the borrowing and returning desks were separated into two single rooms called borrowing and returning, the meeting room remained intact.
