The pie chart illustrates the consumers of water while the second chart demonstrates the residential water use in Australia in the year of 2004. Overall, the highest amount of consumed water was used for residential houses while the lowest was true for government and others. Moreover, the greatest percentage of residential water use was recorded bathroom and garden whereas the opposite was kitchen.
Regarding the first chart, the greatest proportion of water consumption was residential, which divided into apartments and houses, at 17% and 53%, respectively. The percentage of water consumption of industrial was the same as that of business, at about 10%. More water was used by the government than that by others, with 6% and 3%.
Turning to the second chart, garden used the highest amount of water, at about 28%, which was slightly higher than that in the bathroom, at 27%. More water was used in washing clothes than that in toilet and kitchen, at 20%, 15% and 10%, respectively.
