The first chart illustrates the percentage school-aged population in 4 parts of the world. The second chart demonstrates the percentage of college-aged population in the same part of the same part of the world.
The percentage of male and female were relatively same just below 100 and percentage in Europe. In Sub-Saharan Africa, male slightly more than female in schools, resulting for male approximately 30 percent and for female 20 percent. 60 percent of the male obtain education in Latin America, whereas about a half of the male refers to school-aged population. Vice versa, in East Asia the quantity of male are higher than female, it’s 60 percent for male and around 55 percent for female.
In Europe, less male get higher education. In contrast, most percentage female studied universities or colleges, as the result, 70 percent of female are studying at universities, while 60 percent of male prefers to get higher education. The percentage for both genders are below than in Sub-Saharan Africa. Twenty percent of male and around 15 percent of female are getting their degree. Only 10 percent and about 8 percent of male and female could receive education in universities in East Asia.
Overall, in countries such as, Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and East Asia usual have more school-aged population rather than college-aged population.
