The diagram given illustrates the school library appearance between five years ago and present day.
Overall, it is evident that the library has undergone a dramatic change, with the introduction of new facilities and the repurpose of some old features, except for the book shelves on top of the plan remaining unchanged.
Initially, five years ago, there were two book shelves placed on opposite sides of the library, positioned between the two book shelves were four studying tables. On the left-hand side, there are three blocks adjoining each other, including the classroom, meeting rooms and borrowing and returning desk from the top to the bottom, respectively. Turning to the right-hand corner, there was a designated place for computers on the far-right side, along with the library office.
Currently, one of the most noticeable transformations are the three blocks on the left-hand side, with being separated into four blocks: recording studio, meeting room, borrowing, returning area. There has been an increase in number of studying tables, particularly extending from four to six repurposed private ones, ensuring privacy at this library. One of two central book shelves has turned into desks for students’ laptops, the remaining one has kept untouched. Another desks for students’ laptops can be seen in the previous desks for computers, and below it has been converted into the conference room.
