The flow chart shows, the process of recycling and reusing aluminium cans and manufacturing it into usable bottles
Overall,it is clear from the chart that, there are six dixtinct stages involved in the process. It starts with collection of used cans and ends with fabrication of aluminium cans.
At the first stage in the bottle recycling process, used cans are collected from public and these are stored in a huge container ,then it undergoes cleaning, sorting, shredding and compression .These aluminium cans are cleaned, sort and compressed then heating process take place in large container.
The next stage of the process involvess rolling of cans ,these rolled cans are about 2.5mm to 6mm thicker. After this these are recycled in Fizzo and Jonnes industries . Finally, the aluminium cans obtained is processed through a recycling process which results in the production of usable freash bottles. In the United Kingdom ,74% of wasted bottles are recycled.
