The diagram illustrates the share in four types of vehicle in 2014 of three cities such as New York, Sydney and Hong Kong.
Overall, it’s clear that private transport demonstrated the highest result in Sydney rather than other cities, while Hong Kong showed a clear preference for public transportation and walking. New York is more balanced across different transport types.
The private transports in Sydney had the highest figure, with around four fifth percent, whereas Hong Kong had the lowest share, with fewer than one quarter percent. New York fell in between, with roughly more than just over a half percent. Walking and rail preferences decreased significantly in Sydney with approximately 19% and 5% which are less than New York by 21% and 6%. Furthermore, Hong Kong got the largest proportion of bus share with nearly 50% which is more than other metropolitans. Other types of transportation were less selectable in the three towns.
