The given bar chart compares England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland in terms of how many females were jobless between 2013 and 2014.
Overall, it is obvious that while the proportion of females who were out of work in Eangland, Wales and Northern Ireland declined considerably, that of Scotland witnessed completely opposite patterns over the period.
In 2013, the percentage of women without any jobs in England was the highest number, making up 6.8%, followed by Scotland at 6.1%. Nevertheless, in 2014, there was a slightly decrease to 6.5% in the figure for the UK. Meanwhile, Scotland peaked the soaring ratio at 6.7%.
On the other hand, there was a comparable regression between Wales and Northern Ireland during the surveyed period. In 2013, Wales and Northern Ireland accounted for 5.4% and 5.6%, respectively. A year later, that of Wales dropped by 0.4% approximately and Northern Ireland was also fell by 1%.
