In general, the figure for male gamers was higher than that of females at all ages, especially the age of 20-29, which was dominant among other ages. In addition, role-playing games made up the largest figure, while the reverse was true for other games.
Upon examining the details, 12-year-old male gamers accounted for approximately 9% of the total gamers, while female gamers made up about 5% of the total. The percentage of people aged 13-19 was higher than that of 12-year-olds, making up 18% (male) and 8% (female). In contrast, the proportion of males aged 20-29 was dominant among other ages, with almost 35%, which was substantially higher than that of females, accounting for 10%. Males aged over 30 recorded 11% of the total gamers, whereas the figure for females aged over 30 was lower than for other ages, making up about 2% of the total gamers.
Concerning the game type preference, other types of games accounted for the lowest figure, with approximately 1% of gamers, except for role-playing games, which were the most popular type among gamers, recording 50% of the total gamers. 20% of gamers were interested in the action type, while strategies/turn accounted for about 15%. Moreover, the simulation attracted 10% of the total gamers, which was the second smallest figure after that of others.
