Overall, it is evident that male outnumbers female across all years. Young adults aged 20-29 show the largest proportion of gamers, whereas female represents a minimal interest. In addition, role playing games rank first for genders, while action and strategy and turn-based games follow a similar pattern. Other categories show a negligible proportion.
Looking first at age and gender, male proportion increases sharply from childhood to adulthood, especially peaking at about 35% at 20-29 aged years before declining over 30 aged years. From 12 to 19 age years, boys account for approximately 10% and 18% respectively. Meanwhile, counterpart reach at about 10% in its the highest trend across all ages. Between 12 and 19 age, female increases sharply, showing almost 3% and 8%, respectively. At 20-29 ages, female reach far more high than just over 30 age.
Turning to game preference, role playing games dominate overall gaming preferences, accounting for around half of all gamers. Action and strategy and tur-related games rank second, showing almost 20 and 18 gamers. On the other hand, simulation and other games represent significantly lower rather than all games, which account for about 10%.
