In 1700, key locations include: Market Square at the center, a Hotel to the southwest, High Street running horizontally below the Market Square, Goods Farm to the north of Market Square, Churchyard to the east, a Road to the north, and St. Peter's Lane running vertically to the right of Market Square. Today, changes include: a Car Park replacing Goods Farm, a Road system replacing and expanding the previous single road, Shops replacing the original individual structures around High Street, an Office Block and a Supermarket replacing the areas previously designated as individual farms and fields, a Church replacing the Churchyard, additional Roundabout at the intersection of High Street and the expanded road to the right, and the presence of Houses to the far northeast.

The maps illustrate the changes in traffic systems and public facilities of a town center from 1700 to present.
Overall, the urban development has been modernized significantly. The streets have been redesigned and become wider. A great amount of houses have been built. Furthermore, a new supermarket and more shops have been opened.
In 1700, three main buildings – a hotel, a market square and a church – were located at the center of the town. Behind them was a goode farm. There was also a steggle farm on the far side of the goode farm. Additionally, there were three shops, several houses and the stables situated in the town center.
However, the town center has experienced a dramatic urbanization. All of the roads, streets and lanes have been expanded. Traffic lights and a zebra crossing have been added. Moreover, a roundabout has been introduced at the cross of High Street and Market Street. The goode farm has been turned into a large car park; meanwhile, a block of flats has replaced the stables. Two more shops, one additional hotel and a new supermarket have been established. Last, the number of houses has significantly increased.
