As we can see, in 1998, the British national accessed the internet approximately 55%, but it slightly dropped at 8%, and stood 48% in 2000. However, it did not stick at that figure, whereas it moved little upward, and touched the number 50% over next two years. Subsequently, it culminated again at the same percentage at 55%.
