The given pie charts compare the responses of bachelor’s and master’s students to a questionnaire in terms of range of books and online materials in a university library.
Overall, it is clear that a university library managed to provide both range of books and non printed materials satisfactorily for all students. Specifically, postgraduated students mostly considered book ranges as very good, while undergraduated ones responded as statisfactory to the questionnaire. Notably, the reverse was true for online materials like video, CD and, DVD.
To begin with the collection of books, the highest percentage was found in ”Very good” category with 55% among postgraduates. But, with a differing patterns only 28% of undergraduates found selection of the books very good. In addition, in the category of ”satisfactory”, master’s and bachelor’s students comprised 33% and 50% of the total, respectively. Moreover, regarding the ”very bad” section, the rates of undergraduates were higher than postgraduates with an average 10% difference, making up 22% the former.
Moving to the non printed material, undergraduates were double higher than postgraduates with 52% and, ranked first. Of a particular note is that this trend was revised reversely in the category of ”satisfactory” ,in this area graduate students were double superior with 48%. However, the minority of both students regarded online materials as very bed, closing the list with accounting for about 25% each.
