Overall, it is quite evident that the number of paid holidays increased slightly over the given period and the average working hours increased and decreased in the given time period.
It can be clearly seen from the graph, the number of individuals with 16 to 31 working hours noticed 10 million in 1998, it hiked significantly from 1999 to 2003 was 11.5 million and in 2004 , it reached its peak at 12 million. Moreover, 32 to 45 hours, having started at 10.5 million in initial year and remained stable untill 1999 after that it followed the same trend as 16 to 31 hours. Besides this, 45 hours, starting at 9.5 million in 1998, it went down slightly to 9.3 million and showed fluctuations over the entire period and in 2004, it touched its lowest figure ,which was 9 million.
Moving toward the rest of details, the number of paid holidays in 2003 and 2004 was maximum. Whereas , the minimum paid holidays in 1998, making up 25 days. The similar number of paid holidays in 2001 and 2002 was recorded 30 days. 27 paid holidays witnessed in 1999 which was followed by 2000 year in 30 days.
