The two pie charts illustrate the people in the 18 to 25 age group’s use of six types of devices in Canada in two different years.
Overall, it shows that Conventional TV and laptops were at a high rate, while the other devices were at a low rate. There was a huge drop in Conventional TV and laptops, whereas the mobile phone and Flat-screen TV increased by almost half of the pie chart. The desktop computer was the only device to decrease over the period.
To begin, the use of Conventional TV was at 34% in 2009 and by the year 2019, it dropped sharply by 30% to 4%. Furthermore, the people who used mobile phones were not very popular at first, and it was 15% fewer than 3% of desktop computers. After decades, it increased rapidly to 26%, as well as the flat screen TV, which was 8% in the first year, and then rose to 27% in the final year.
For the desktop computer, on the other hand, 18% was used in 2009, and it decreased slightly to 12%, while the use of tablets increased from 5% to 19% throughout the year.
