The line graph illustrates the cost of stocks of four individual companies that specialise in technology from 2011 to 2016
Overall, although, Apple hit the record highest stocks in one year, it was Facebook which had any sort of growth in stocks compared to its counterparts.
In 2011, all four company stocks were worth less than 10 000 with Google being the lowest at 1000. This amount kept constant till 2016. By 2012, Apple was valued at the record-highest stocks of 35000 in all of the 6 years. Although it was Facebook which had a positive delta by the end of 2016, out of the four companies.
In the same year, Facebook was seeing a gradual rise in stocks which was the polar opposite of Yahoo which also had the same amount of stocks at around 8000 in 2011. However, it was Apple, which saw the most significant decrease after 2012 even though there was a small resurgence in its stock price during 2014.
