The line chart illustrates the fatality and birth rates over the period of 200 years spanning from 1901 to 2101.
Overall, it is obviously seen that until the half of the second century birth rate is more than that of death. However, subsequently death overtakes the natality.
To begin with, in 1901 the birth and death stood at 20 and 10, respectively. Subsequently, in 1960 the birth peaked at 65. Until present time, the figure for death fluctuated and levelled off at approximately 50 – still the highest.
In 2041 both of the figures cross at 47, onward the death increased considerably. Hence, at the end of the period the death and birth rates have 45 and 42, respectively.
