Overall, while Price of color TV and Prince of black and white TV significantly decreased, the opposite was true for the salary significantly increased. Moreover, while Prince of color TV, Price of black and white TV ranked the lowest and saw a considerable disparity, the Salary was the highest in 1953 to 1983.
Looking in the graph, in the first 10 years, Price of black and white TV decreased sharply from 110 Yen in 1953 to 40 Yen in 1963. The number continued to decrease in final 20 years from 40 Yen to 20 Yen. In the same way, Price of color TV in the first 10 years went down dramatically between 100 Yen in 1963 and 55 Yen in 1973. Then increasing slightly from 55 Yen to 49 Yen in last 10 years.
Contrary to the two above, Japanese average monthly salary rose minimally in the first 20 years from 19 Yen to 31 Yen. In last 10 years, Salary climbed dramatically from 31 Yen in 1973 to 69 Yen in 1983 and, ranked the highest was 69 Yen over the past 30 years.
