The pie charts given provide the portion of world’s forests and timber production in various regions of the world in 2010.
Overall, it can be observed from the chart that while South America was dominant in forest production, Russia was dominant in timber production. It is noticeable that Europe took the least one in both graph.
Looking at the former graph which displays the forests production in the world in more detail, South America and Russia were dominant, making up 26.5 and 24.2 respectively. Percentage of the North America was 21.9 while South Africa was 13.2, being second two dominant countries. Countries in the Europe and Asia/Oceania were the least one accounting for 5% and about 9% respectively.
Turning to the second chart which is provided for timber production in the world. Russia kept dominance in this type of production, making up 37.5%. South America and Asia/Oceania were about identical making up 15 percent while South Africa and North America were about 12%. Europe was 9.2 percent, keeping the least one.
