The line graph depicts information about the annual consumption of food in kilograms per person in Australia from 1950 to 2010.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that all of the food types fluctuated over the time period, except seafood which remained stable. Moreover, the proportion of vegetables composed the highest, while the share of seafood was the lowest.
As is evident from the line graph, initially the value of vegetables comprised 140 kg, while the share of meat accounted for about 110 kg, being the second highest. The consumption of vegetables witnessed some fluctuations from 1960 to 2000, and finally grew gradually to 160 kg. In 1960 the index of meat was under 100 kg, before witnessing a growth to under 120 in 1990. Ultimately, this share dropped to 80 kg.
Furthermore, in 1950, on the average one Australian person ate 40 kg of bread, however this number grew to approximately 70 kg in 1970, followed by a steady decrease to 60 kg in 2010. It is clearly seen that the rate of sea food remained unchanged over the period of six decades.
