The graph indicates the cost of building facilities for visitors in a 12-year period, from 1980 till 1992, in four different countries located in Europe.
Overall, UK and France spent the most on tourist infrastructure, followed by Spain and Germany, respectively. All the countries have a steady growth over the years except for Spain, which has spent the same amount as in the beginning.
Looking at the countries with the highest incline, we could see that both France and UK end up spending 80 million euros in 1992, with UK starting at roughly 55 million euros and France at 20 million euros in 1980. Considering the data from all countries, France had the most consistent growth over the years, with the highest jump between 1986 and 1988.
On the other hand, Spain expenses in tourisim sliped over the years but between 1990 and 1992 they had their biggest rise, which was a little over 10 millions, resulting in a totall of 60 million euros. However, in the exact same period, Germany had a big drop around 8 millions euros, settling in a totall of 40 millions in expanses for tourisim sites construction in 1992.
