The line graph illustrates the amount of money spent on tourist infrastructure in four different regions of Europe between 1980 and 1992.
It is clear that in 1980, the UK had the highest level of government spending on tourist infrastructure. The amount then declined from around 60 million to 50 million. In contrast, France started at a relatively low level but experienced a rapid increase between 1980 and 1982.
To begin with, in 1980, government spending on tourist infrastructure in the UK was around 50 million, while France spent approximately 20 million. Spain recorded the highest figure, at 60 million, whereas Germany’s spending was at a moderate level, around 30 million.
Turning to 1992, government spending on tourist infrastructure in both the UK and France rose significantly, reaching around 80 million. Meanwhile, Spain’s figure remained unchanged throughout the period at 60 million, and Germany recorded the lowest figure, at approximately 40 million.
