The bar chart illustrates the comparison of the number of males and females in career fields in 6 different parts of the world in 1995 and one decade later. Overall, it can be seen that the amount of male workers in both years was significantly more than the number of woman employees, moreover, all categories had a gradual increase.
According to the graph, the greatest amount of male laborers was in Iceland in 2005, and in the same year in Switzerland, the number of women employees reached a peak. Furthermore, in 1995, the proportion of females in did not outweigh 60 percent, while men’s percentage was approximently between 55-70 percent.
Shift to 2005, the males in New Zealand and the USA remained the same, also, there was about a 1 percent difference between them and UK or Australia. Additionally, women’s numbers in 2005 demonstrated some fluctuation. In three countries, the UK, the USA, and Switzerland the percentage of females in 2005 exceeded male number in 1995.
