The presented line graph depicts the proportion of radio and television audiences all over the day in the UK from October to December 1992. The radio listener percentage was higher than television in the morning. People were more often used to television at night, especially after working hours. Both percentage audiences were decreased at midnight until the next morning.
In the morning, radio began with 8% listeners. The number always increased until it reached the peak of 30% at 8am. After 8am, the radio proportion decreased until the next morning. There were also some fluctuations. For instance, the percentage of radio listeners grew gradually at 2pm until 4pm, from 11% to 16%.
On the other side, television started at 0% at the start of the day. There were some fluctuations before it hit the peak of 50% at 8pm. Then the number slightly went down at 10pm which reduced 5% from the previous percentage. Subsequently, the percent of television viewers declined tremendously down to 1% viewers at 2am.
