The line graph illustrates the comparison of vehicle production hours spending on one car from four distinct companies since 1999 until 2006. The data can be divided into Europian and Asian company. Overall, it can be seen that all companies could performed the vehicle production hours competitively at the end of the period.
Beginning with Europian manufacturing in 1999, there was the largest hour spending at approximately 33 hours in Audi, before starting to deteriorate significantly to roughly 25 hours in the next four years. In contrast, Mercedes had a huge difference from Audi with 25 hours since 1999, whereas it ross gradually to 32 in 2002, then it slowly declined to merely 24, three years later. These two factories neggligibly dropped to just under 25 hours in 2006. Surprisingly, Volvo production hours had been remained steady at around 22 hours throughout the entire period.
Moving to Asian factory, Nissan’s capability for one car performed just over 20 at the beginning of the period, then it had been fructuated between 20 and 22 hours since 1999 untill 2005. Consequently it marginally moved upward to be equal to Volvo at 22 hours in 2006.
