Overall, it can be seen that CD players were far higher than other technologies in the beginning and in the middle of the period but, by the end, CD players experienced a downward trend whereas other technologies increased gradually. CD players were the most popular over the first thirteen years (from 1994 to 2007) but, at the end of the period, DVD players were the most popular.
With regards to the percentage of CD players accessed, it began at around 48 pergent, and then peaked at about 88 percent in 2005 before falling gradually to 83 percent in 2008. DVD players experienced significant fluctuations in the middle of the period, starting at approximately 28% in 1996, and ending at just under 80%. For the orange line which represented mobile phones was a significant rise in the percentage of access from 1998 to 2008, ending at just over 60 percent. Lastly, There was a sudden rise in Internet connections from approximately 30% to 80% in four years, ending at about 85 percent in the last year.
