The line graph compares the great deal of fish and different kinds of meat consumed in a European country from 1979 to 2004.
Overall, the number of chicken consumption saw an increase between 1974 and 2004, while the figure for beef, lamb and fish had a decreasing pattern in the same period. In addition, Fish consumption was the lowest of the number of remaining meats.
In 1979, the data for beef consumption was 220 grams which was highest starting point of the total of four kinds of meat. After reaching a peak of well over 230 grams in 1982, beef consumption rapidly declined by about 115 grams. Similarly, the great deal of the consuming lamp had a decreasing pattern by roughly 70 grams between 1979 and 2004.
Turning to the remaining meats, in 1979, chicken stood at roughly 150 grams per person per week, before significantly increasing overtaking the number of the beef at about 200 grams in 1989. At the remaining years, the figure for chicken also climbed, but a lower rate, by about 40 grams per person. In contrast, Fish consumption saw a slightly dropped from about 60 to just under 50 grams during the period between 1979 and 2004.
