It is clear that chicken was by far the most important means of consuming meat over the period shown. Fish provided the lowest amount of products in each year.
In 1979, Beef was the main source of producing around 220. Lamb was the second most consumption category which received only 150, while chicken was under 150 , and fish provided a negligible amount that was under 70. Just one year later, chicken overtook the lamb as the primary source of meat producing.
Between 1979 and 1999, different kind of meat consuming from chicken rose dramatically to a peak of 250 . By contrast, the figure for the fish fell to 50 in 1984, and remained at this level for the rest of the period. However, beef exhibited an decreasing trajectory from 220 to 160, while the figure for lamb saw a gradual reduction between 150 and 80.
