The amount of cheese being consumed in 1979 started at approximately 8 pounds, after which it witnessed a drastic growth to 11 in around 1977, surpassed the figure for full-fat ice cream before ending the period as the greatest one with 25 pounds. Similarly, the level of yogurt was only about 1 pounds at the beginning; in contract, it then rose dramatically to surpass that of two type of ice cream and become the second highest with 9 pounds at the end of the period.
around 11 pounds of full-fat ice cream was eaten in the UK in 1970, it subsequently fluctuated to reach a peak of 12 pound and a final negligibly dropped to 9 pound.
