The line graph present data on how many commuters in percentages, used to travel in different transports throughout the years 1960 to 2000.

Overall, it can be clearly seen that the percentages of commuters that used cars, rose markedly over the given time frame, while others experienced decrease and increase slightly.

In 1960, the bus was most commonly used option for traveling to and from work. The percentage of commuters was around 38. The least preferred choice was car with the percentage around 6. Tubes and trains were also a preferred choice for citizens. In 1980, the percentage of car travelers increased noticeable, to around 23 from previous one. Train also experienced an increase with the percentage of 27. While the percentage of commuters that use tube and bus fell to 22 and 27.

The biggest rise and fall were in 2000. The percentage of car travelers increased to an approximate percentage of 37, whereas the percentage of bus commuters fell to around 15 percent. Train experienced a decrease to 22 percent. The percentage of tube users, rose from previous percentage to 25. Throughout the time period, the percentage of bus was the highest.
