The line graph illustrates the monthly ridership of four transportation modes (subway, tram, bus, and bake share) in a European metropolis between 1980 and 2030.
Overall, subway and tram had become the most rideship by 2030 with the bigest increse in number rideship, while bus and bike share that was most decrease by 2030.
With regards to the subway, consumption showed a start at 2.5 million commutes, then fluctuated until 2010, at which point they rose steadily with a prediction of 4.5 million units by 2030. Likewise, the number of monthly passengers on term was only below 0.5 million in 1980 before rising dramatically to a plateau in 2030, then increasing slightly at the end of the period to finish as the second most popular rideship.
In contrast, bus ridership showed a similar pattern to tram ridership, with ridership fluctuating but with a general increase. Bus ridership began at around 1.5 million commuters in 1980 and then decelerated to around 0.5 million. Bike share ridership was not introduced until 2000. Since then, it has increased dramatically to over 1 million riders in 2030.
