The given graph illustrates three different waste disposal method used in a country of Europe from 2005 to 2008. Clearly, the method of dumping has changed from filling the land to filling the seawater.
Throwing into the land was the main disposal method in 2005, about 2000 million tones were disposed in this method. But this method seems like did not worked out greatly. It decreased dramatically and in 2006, 400 million tones less waste was disposed by landfilling. The trend followed in 2008 with the same amount of decrease.
Burning was used more in 2006 than the two other given years. Almost 900 million tones of waste was burnt in 2005 and 2008. In 2006, the amount was 300 million tones more than them.
In 2005, the method of disposing waste into the sea water was less popular, with 1200 million tones waste disposed in this way. But, the amount has increased gradually and was a bit more than 1400 million tones. The trend continues, with approximately 1630 million tones of waste thrown in the sea in 2008.
Among the three method, burning was the less popular method and land filling was most popular though dumping in the sea was replacing it in a large number.
