Below is a line graph illustrating the number of enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office in one city over a period of six months in 2011.
Overall, enquiries made by telephone recorded the highest in January while that made physically recorded the lowest in January. Both enquiries made in person and by telephone saw a significant increase.
Enquiries made in person made a steady increase over the six-month period. It recorded 400 inquiries in January, slightly made an increament to 800 by march where by the numbers went higher sharply by around 500 enquiries. It then significantly increased to around 1900 in the month of June.On the other hand, enquiries made by telephone had fluctuating records upto the month of March. It started at around 900 in the first month being the highest and dropped to 800 in February and rose again to 1000 in March. The records stabilised at 1000 for a month and increased steadily to 1600 in June.
Contrary, enquiries made letter/mail decreased over the period. It recorded around 780 in January and slightly dropped to around 680 by March. It had a significant decrease by 280 in May .It maintained at 400 during the last month
