The line chart illustrates three ways to receive information inquiries namely in person, by letter/email and by telephone in one city over a six-month period from January to June in 2011.
Looking from an overall perspective, the number of enquiries received directly and by telephone experienced an upward trend, while the figure for letter/email plummeted over the period.
In January, with more than 800, Calling and texting by phone was the best method to connect with information for citizens at this time, then it recorded a fluctuation between January and April from 800 to 900 before bombing to exactly 1600. Whereas, the data for in person witnessed a sharp increase in the period time, it rose five times from roughly 400 to almost 2000.
By contrast, starting with approximately 800, the number of enquiries received by letter/email decreased significantly in the first half of the period to around 600 before dropping to a nadir of exactly 400.
