Overall, the enquires received from “in person” and “by telephone” have increased gradually throughout the period. But the enquiries received “by letter/email” has seen a downward trend by the end of sixth month.
As the graph shows in January, “in person” enquiries were the least among the three. However, it showed a sharp increase from 400 to 800 over the first three-month period and continued its rapid surge between march and April up to 1300 enquiries under one month. By the end of June “in person” enquiries were more than 1800. Ranking as the highest medium of enquiries compared to the other two.
The enquiries received from “By telephone” had a slight increase by 200 enquires between January and march. It experienced a dramatic increase between April to June to 1600 enquiries.
Enquiries from “By letter/email” slowly declined between January and march. It experienced a sharp drastic trend throughout the period. However, “by letter/email” enquiries were recorded as the lowest number of enquiries received by tourist information office in the year 2011.
