In 1987, the coasts area was the most popular destination, reached approximately 40 thousand visitors. In the same period, mountain’s visitors were half of the coast’s visitors, which were 20 thousand visitors. While, the lakes were the least visited area with 10 thousand visitors.

However, in 2002, lakes visitors raised significantly and reached its peak which was 75 thousand visitors, followed by the coast area with 60 thousand visitors and mountains area with 30 thousand visitors.

By the end of 2007, the lakes visitors dropped significantly to 50 thousand people, and the coast regained its first place as the most visited destination with almost 80 thousand visitors. In 2007, the mountains remained the least visited area over the time.
