The line graph provides information on how many visitors from foreign countries traveled to three different destinations- the coast, the mountains, and the lakes- in a particular European country within two decades commencing in 1987. The data is measured in thousands.
It can be seen that the coastal areas were the all-time favorite traveling zone for visitors whereas fewer visitors preferred to have a trip to mountain sectors. Additionally, the lakes experienced an upward trend in the given period.
The figure for overseas visitors who went to the coast accounted for an initial 40 before it saw a decline of about 5 in 1992. After this, the number of travelers to the mountains soared. In other words, it took the leading position among others with almost whooping 80 in the final year.
As for the lakes, it made up a mere 10, initially. That, however, hit a peak at about 75 thousand visitors in 2002. The figure had descended till the half by 2007.
When it comes to the mountains, its figure underwent some fluctuations over the period. It was the less preferable destination for foreign visitors, comprising well below 40 in 2007.
