Overall, both figures showed downward trends. In addition, the highest point had been reported in the number of new stores’ number showed the lowest point.

In 2011, the estimation of newly set up shops was about 8,500 and sharply declined to just over 4,000 in the next year. The graph gradually increased by about 2,000 between 2012 and 2014 and then decreased to exact 4,000 in 2015. After a consistent figure lasted for 2 years, the graph showed 3,000 in the final year.

In the initial year, the figure was more than 6,000 for the number of closed stores. The graph showed a slightly downward trend in a year, followed by a gradual increase in 2013. After a negligible decrease in 2014, the scale enormously declined by 6,000, which makes it the lowest point ever seen over the period.
