The table depicts the number of males and females attending six various courses at a university in Britain in 2014. Overall, Business Administration is student’s favorite by both genders, whereas Gender studies is the course, which attracted the least students among six courses
As can be seen, both of male and female students were keen on studying Business Administration most, with 1300 and 1250 respectively. A similar pattern was shown in Accountancy, which males accounted more than females at 1240. In addition, boys also took part in Various engineering and Chinese more than girls, with 500 and 200 respectively. Meanwhile, only 200 girl students attended to the former and 50 for the latter.
There were only two courses, which had the number of females more than males. It was English and Gender studies. The former was attended by 850 females, more 50 students than males. Furthermore, the number of girls spending time on Gender studies was 100 people, which was five times higher than boys.
