Overall, the consumption of whole milk declined dramatically throughout the period, while the amount of consumption of low-fat milk lifted considerably. Despite the fact that consumption of whole milk was highest in the start, however, decreased over the given period and ended up smallest.
The usage of whole milk was about 25 gallons per person. Consequently, it started declining in the first year of the period. Eventually, fell to nearly 5 gallons by 2015 year.
In contrast, the amount of gallons that were consumed per person was increasing from the first year, and reached its peak in 1990( approximately 15 gallons). From 1990 to 2010, the amount of low-fat milk consumed was remaining the same (about 15 gallons). By 2015, consumption of low-fat milk declined slightly.
