The bar graph illustrates the proportion of males and females in different type of age categories who did not participate any sports in the Australia.
Overall, while the proportion of elderly person who did not attend any sports program was the highest in the Australia, the percentage of young women also did not participate for sports activites, compared to boys. Furthermore, Elderly female recorded the highest non participation rate among all age groups.
15-24 age group was the lowest non participation for any sports events, at just under 20%, and female non participation in 25-34 age group was higher than 15-24 age group, accounting for nearly 22%. In comparison, the 35-44 age group recorded the similar rate in both male and female, standing at 28%.
In contrast, the proportion of elderly female was the highest non participation among all age groups, at around nearly 58%. However, male of the old age group and 55-64 age groups were similar, standing at 42%.
