Overall, the proportion in China and India experienced an upward trend except for US and Japan. Moreover, China experienced the greatest growth in exports compared to other countries.
To begin with, there was a significant decline for proportion of exports in Japan throughout the entire time, went from approximately 26% to 16% in 2012. In contrast, the figure for exports in China went up slightly from 3% to 5% in a decade until a dramatic surge to 27% in 2012, surpassing the proportion in Japan.
Regarding the US, after fluctuating in between roughly 11% and 7% for the next 10 years, the data of Australian exports dropped remarkably at 6% in 2012. Meanwhile, the amount of exports began at around 3%. This was followed by a climb of 4% in 2010 then decreased slightly to 5% at the end of the chart.
