Overall, the demand for cars has noticeably increased, single car users were almost held at one scale, while the number of multiple car users gradually increased.
To begin with the first decade, in 1995, people who preferred walking had the highest figure among people without car for the whole decade, at 35%. 45% of people chose to have one car in 1995. At the beginning of the period, two or more car owners constituted about 15%. After 10 years, the indicator for people without a car decreased to 30%; the single car user index decreased by about 3%. In that time two or more car owner index increased to 28%.
Turning to the next decade, people without cars constituted 22% in 2015, an increase of 5%. One car users were highest in 2015 with 42% index but in a decade it managed to fall to 29%. Using two or more cars increased smoothly throughout the period; it grew by 10% from 30% in a decade, making it the most popular transportation system.
