The graph shows the information about the proportion of female workers and worked people aged 50 or above in the UK workforce during the period from 1971 to 2019.
Overall it can be seen that the percentage of people worked tends to upward direction. In comparison proportion of a female worker is the highest from the beginning to the end.
As can be seen from the graph, the proportion of women workers are gradually increased in upward direction. The percentage of women workers in 1971 is 37% and 1980 is 40% . After a ten years it increased 45% and the next 20 years the graph remains stable, but over the period of 48 years it increased about 47% respectively.
In comparison, the proportion of workers aged 50 or above is also gradually rise over the period of 29 years. From 1990, the percentage of workers aged 50 or above is about 21% and in 2000 it increased 2% accounted 23% . After a 10 years it increased around 29% and from 2019 it remains 32% respectively.
