The bar chart illustrates the percenatge of men and women employed in executive positions in AMCE oil company from 1993 to 1994. Overall, it is clear that the men and women had a highest and lowest proportion over the year. Women shows gradually decrease, while men demonstrated grew steadily.
Regarding to entry-level roles, women held the majority of positions in officers garde E, accounting for approximately 75% of the total, while men made up only 25%. However, as the rank increased to grade D and C, the gender gap narrowed. In grade D, the percentage of women fell to 60%, and by grade C, the proportions were almost even, with men slightly increasing women at around 60% compared to 45%.
Moving the higher-ranking roles, the trend reversed dramatically as men dominated the senior positions. In officer grade B,the percentage of men employees surged to over 80%, while the female proportion plummented to roughly 25%. The most evident highest position officer grade A, where men reached their peak at approximatel 90%, while women accunted for only 10% of the staff at this level.
